Dana was the second blue merle female we imported from England but the first from Blazecroft.
We have doubted very long if we should take her because of the colour, but after a long consideration we took her with us because despite the amount of black in her coat, the blue parts were really
silvery blue and we have not regretted our decision for a single day.

Dana just loved to be around people and never met a stranger throughout her life.
Because of her happy temperament and the stories she could tell she was a most welcome guest within our family and Dana in return just loved to visit everyone because she knew she would be able to find something to eat somewhere ;-)

Dana gave us two litters with a total of 5 puppies and all of them were blue merles.
Except for one they all had a nice colour. From her first litter a bitch went to Germany and from her second litter we kept a blue merle bitch ourselves, this bitch -Dawnville Naughty By Nature- became our most successful  homebred bitch and herself so far the mother of 4 champions, all of them blue merles.

Dana's memory will live on in her children and grandchildren whom -thanks to Dana- have that lovely  clear silvery blue merle colour we like so much and for that we will always be thankful to her.
