Lizzy was our first Sheltie bitch and the first we went to
shows with, if we had known than what we
know now, she would have been a
champion also.
She wasn't now but was the mother of our first homebred champion: Dawnville Tri 'n Stop Me
and
the start of 3 generations of champions.
Lizzy was my life, she was one of those dogs that share your
grieves and sorrows and was happy when
I was happy. One look at me and she knew
what I wanted, she could read me and I could read her.
It was like part of me
died with her the day we had to say goodbye.
I know there will never be a dog
like her and I will miss her forever.
We are happy with the time we shared with her although -as
usual- it was way too short.
We are forever thankful for what she learned us and
for what she left behind. Her daughter, grandson , granddaughter
and great
granddaughters are still with us and we see quite a few of her 'trades' but
there will never be another Lizzy.
